Think you really know your partner? Ready to prove it on stage, in front of a live audience, with laughs, surprises, and a few “wait… WHAT?” moments?
Couples Hot Seat is a live couples competition where love, laughter, and honesty collide. Think reality TV meets game show meets stand-up comedy—featuring real couples, real answers, and real reactions.
Hosted by comedian Max Summers, this high-energy show is light-hearted, playful, and all in good fun. No mean-spirited roasting—unless you absolutely earn it.
How It Works: Couples go head-to-head answering questions across fun, unexpected categories designed to test how well you actually know each other. Correct answers earn points, and every reveal happens live in front of the audience.
To keep things fair (and spicy), couples compete against other couples in similar relationship stages and years together. No newlyweds versus 20-year veterans.
The couple with the most points wins bragging rights and prizes, including gift cards to some of Charlotte’s best restaurants.
Now Casting:
We’re looking for fun, confident couples of all kinds:
Dating, engaged, or married
New love or long-time legends
Couples who can laugh at themselves and roll with the moment
Couples who think they truly know each other
If your date night needs an upgrade, this is it. Spots are limited, and only a select number of couples will be chosen.
